HBN Interactive Announces New Chief Technology Officer
Matthew Swanson to Drive Company’s Technology Initiatives
House Buyer Network recently created a new corporate entity –HBN Interactive (HBNi)–to consolidate its vast real estate portfolio. New CTO to lead strategic initiatives of HBNi’s Transaction Services and new Media Services divisions.
Marietta, GA, May 22, 2008 – HBNi, North America’s leader in transaction solutions for the real estate industry, today announced the recent appointment of Matthew Swanson to Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
In this new role, Swanson will lead all of the company’s strategic technology initiatives. Additionally he will drive the development of HBNi’s recently announced Media Services division. Swanson will also lead the company’s Transaction Services division, which brings home buyers, home sellers, real estate agents, and investors as close to the real estate closing table as possible.

Swanson, a graduate of The University of Tennessee, joins HBNi from CareerBuilder.com where he served as director of marketing technologies. At CareerBuilder, he developed emerging partnerships with companies such as the Walt Disney Company and Facebook. During his 8-year tenure at CareerBuilder, he also served as a senior software engineer that architected solutions for both job seekers and job posters using CareerBuilder.com.
Prior to CareerBuilder, Swanson was a consultant with Accenture and led development efforts with clients such as Bank of America, AT&T;, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency within the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
